Lutyens' Delhi

Lutyens' Delhi is a vast precinct in New Delhi, India, named after the British architect Edwin Lutyens (1869–1944), who was responsible for much of its architectural design and construction. The establishment and development of this imposing precinct occurred during the reign of the British Raj, when India was a colonial possession of the British Empire.
