Mahavira Hall

A Mahavira Hall, also known simply as a Main Hall, is the main building in a traditional East Asian Buddhist temple, enshrining representations of Gautama Buddha and various other buddhas and bodhisattvas. For temples enshrining Gautama Buddha, they are usually termed the Daxiong Baodian or Daxiongbao Hall in Chinese Buddhism.
