Maiar
The Maiar (sing. Maia) are a fictional class of beings from J. R. R. Tolkien's high fantasy legendarium. Supernatural and angelic, they are "lesser Ainur" (as opposed to the Valar) who entered the cosmos of Eä in the beginning of time.
