Marwar (Marwari: [maːɾwaːɽ], also called Jodhpur region, Marwari: [d͡ʒoːd̪ʱpʊɾ]) is a cultural and historical region in the western part of the Indian state of Rajasthan. The Thar Desert is located in this region of Rajasthan and stretches westward into Pakistan's Sindh province.
