Matthew Edward Patricia (born September 13, 1974) is an American football coach who is currently the defensive coordinator for Ohio State. He previously served 15 non-consecutive seasons as an assistant coach with the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL), including six seasons as the defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2017.
