Mehdi Bakeri (Persian: مهدی باکری; 1954 – 16 March 1985) was an Iranian Azeri military officer and prominent Iranian military figure in the Iran–Iraq War. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tabriz and participated in the Iranian Revolution against the Shah.
