Mela Huseynê Bateyî (Kurdish: Melayê Bateyî; fl. 17th–18th centuries) was a Kurdish poet and cleric. He is regarded as the founder of the Kurdish mawlid literary tradition, as nearly all later Kurdish mawlids were influenced by his work.
