Michael A. Monsoor

Michael Anthony Monsoor (April 5, 1981 – September 29, 2006) was a United States Navy SEAL who was killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom during the Battle of Ramadi when he dived onto a live grenade to shield his fellow SEALs, sacrificing his own life. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
