Michael Malone (born September 15, 1971) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team. He previously coached in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was the head coach of the Sacramento Kings from 2013 to 2014 and the Denver Nuggets from 2015 to 2025.
