Michael Burns (executive)

Michael Burns (born August 21, 1958) is an American entertainment executive who joined the board of directors of Lionsgate in 1999 and became Vice Chairman of Lionsgate in March 2000, a position he continues to hold. During his 27-year tenure, Lionsgate has grown from a fledgling independent studio into a diversified global entertainment company.
