Michiel Schapers (Dutch pronunciation: [miˈxil ˈsxaːpərs]; born 11 October 1959) is a Dutch former tennis player and coach. == Tennis career == Turning professional in 1982, Schapers represented his native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where he was defeated in quarterfinals by eventual winner Miloslav Mečíř of Czechoslovakia.
