Mohamed Atta's alleged Prague connection
A claimed connection between Iraq and al-Qaeda came through an alleged meeting between September 11 ringleader Mohamed Atta and the Iraqi consulate in Prague, Czech Republic in April 2001. This alleged connection was a key claim used by the Bush administration to justify the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
