Muraqabah
Murāqabah (Arabic: مراقبة, lit.: "to observe") is an Islamic methodology of achieving a transcendent union with God via Meditation. It is a tradition commonly found in the ṭarīqas (Sufi orders) of Sunni Islam and in Irfani Shi'ism.
