Murder of Ibrahim Oktugan

On 7 May 2024, İbrahim Oktugan, a 74-year-old principal of a private high school in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district, was fatally shot. The shooter was identified as Yousif K., a 17-year-old of Iraqi origin who held Turkish citizenship.
