Murder of Jacqueline Thomas
Jacqueline Mary Thomas (1945 – 18 August 1961) was an English 15-year-old biscuit factory worker from Alum Rock, Birmingham, who was sexually assaulted and strangled after disappearing on 18 August 1961. Her body was discovered a week later close to her home, and the murder sparked a manhunt involving several hundred police officers.
