Musical anhedonia

Musical anhedonia (or specific musical anhedonia) is a neurological phenomenon characterized by a lack of sensitivity to reward from or pleasurable responses to music. People with this experience, unlike those suffering from amusia, have no deficiencies in their perception of music, but fail to derive pleasure from music listening while maintaining normal hedonic response to non-musical stimuli.
