Nuthalapati Venkata Ramana ([nuːtalapaːʈi venkaʈa ɾamaɳa]; born 27 August 1957) is a former Indian judge and journalist who served as the 48th Chief Justice of India. Previously, he was a judge on the Supreme Court of India, chief justice of Delhi High Court and an acting chief justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court.
