It was the fourth annual Heatwave produced by the company for its developmental brand NXT, and 11th Heatwave overall. The event took place on August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts, and was the first Heatwave to solely use the WWE logo as well as be broadcast on Netflix in international markets.
