Necropolis of the Rabs
The Necropolis of the Rabs, also known as the Necropolis of Sainte-Monique, Necropolis of Bordj Djedid, or Djebel Louzir, is a Punic-era cemetery (5th–2nd century BC) located on the archaeological site of Carthage in Tunisia, which was excavated between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The excavation, led by Alfred Louis Delattre, took place under the standard conditions of that period, which impacted the comprehensive understanding of the site.
