Nimbin is a triterpenoid isolated from the neem tree (Azadirachta indica). Nimbin is thought to be responsible for much of the biological activities of neem oil, and is reported to have anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, fungicidal, antihistamine and antiseptic properties.
