Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006

Norway was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "Alvedansen", written by Kjetil Fluge, Christine Guldbrandsen, and Atle Halstensen, and performed by Guldbrandsen herself. The Norwegian participating broadcaster, Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), organised the national final Melodi Grand Prix 2006 in order to select its entry for the contest.
