Novikov–Veselov equation

In mathematical physics, the Novikov–Veselov equation (or Veselov–Novikov equation) is a nonlinear partial differential equation. It is a two-dimensional analogue of the well-known Korteweg–de Vries equation (KdV equation), which can model shallow water waves.
