The Oireachtas ( EH-rəkh-təs; Irish: [ˈɛɾʲaxt̪ˠəsˠ]) is the bicameral parliament of Ireland. The Oireachtas consists of the president of Ireland and the two Houses of the Oireachtas (Irish: Tithe an Oireachtais): Dáil Éireann (lower house) and Seanad Éireann (upper house).
