Martha Joan Hart (née Patterson; born October 31, 1966) is a Canadian philanthropist and researcher known for her advocacy work following the death of her husband, Owen Hart. After her husband died in a free falling accident at Over the Edge (1999), Hart sued the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE).
