Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award

The Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award is an annual award established in 2003 and granted by the Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust to support the showcasing of innovative theatre by a company or individual. According to the director of the trust Romilly Walton Masters in 2003: From the outset, the Trust has had a specific interest in aiding artists of the avant-garde who often have to wait many years before they are taken up by the commercial theatre.
