Pasdar (Persian: «پاسدار») is a Persian word meaning "Guardian" which referred to an official member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran (IRGC). Pasdar is called to a person who guards the Islamic Iranian Revolution to its completion and upholds its ideology.
