Brazzein

Brazzein is a sweet-tasting protein that occurs naturally in oubli (Pentadiplandra brazzeana), a fruit native to the Atlantic coastal areas of Central Africa. Brazzein was named in 1994 by scientists at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
