Peter Edward Ostling (July 22, 1944 – February 20, 2025), known professionally as Peter Jason, was an American character actor. He appeared in over 250 film and television roles from his debut in 1967 through the mid-2020's, and was notably a regular in the films of directors Walter Hill and John Carpenter.
