The Polish underground press, devoted to prohibited materials (sl. Polish: bibuła [biˈbu.wa] , lit. 'semitransparent blotting paper' or, alternatively, drugi obieg [ˈdru.ɡi ˈɔ.bjɛk], lit. 'second circulation'), has a long history of combatting censorship of oppressive regimes in Poland.
