Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest

Portugal has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 57 times since its debut in 1964, missing five contests (1970, 2000, 2002, 2013, and 2016). The current Portuguese participating broadcaster in the contest is Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP), which selects its entrant with the national selection Festival da Canção.
