Posidonius
Posidonius (; Ancient Greek: Ποσειδώνιος Poseidṓnios; "of Apamea" (ὁ Ἀπαμεύς) or "of Rhodes" (ὁ Ῥόδιος); c. 135 – c. 51 BC) was a Greek politician, astronomer, astrologer, geographer, historian, mathematician, and teacher native to Apamea, Syria.
