Presidency of Woodrow Wilson

Woodrow Wilson served as the 28th president of the United States from March 4, 1913, to March 4, 1921. A Democrat and former governor of New Jersey, Wilson took office after winning the 1912 presidential election, where he defeated the Republican candidate, incumbent President William Howard Taft, and the Progressive candidate, former president Theodore Roosevelt.
