A prosphora (Greek: προσφορά, offering, or in Demotic Greek πρόσφορον) is a small loaf of leavened bread used in Orthodox Christian, Eastern Lutheran and Greek Catholic (Byzantine) liturgies. The classical plural form is prosphorai (προσφοραί).
