Protestantism in the United Kingdom

Protestantism (part of Christianity) is the largest denomination of Christianity religious demographic in the United Kingdom, and is made up of the Anglican (Church of England, Church of Scotland) and nonconformist (Methodism, Free Church, Baptist, Quakers, etc) branches of the Christian Church. Before Protestantism reached England, the Roman Catholic Church was the established state church.
