Public prosecutor's office (Germany)

The Staatsanwaltschaft (German: [ˈʃtaːt͡sʔanˌvaltʃaft] ) is the public prosecutor's office in Germany. They are the offices of the public prosecutors which are criminal justice bodies attached to the judiciary but separate from the courts.
