Qashqai people ( kash-KY; Persian: قشقایی [ˌɢæʃɢɒːˈjiː]) are a Turkic tribal people indigenous to southern Iran. Almost all of them speak Qashqai, an Oghuz language they call Turki, as well as Persian in formal use.
