The National Anthem of Pakistan, also known by its incipit "The Sacred Land", is the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It was composed by Ahmad G. Chagla in 1949, with classical Urdu lyrics being written later by Hafeez Jalandhari in 1952.
