Rail transport in Argentina
The Argentine railway network is the system of railway lines in the country, developed primarily between the late 19th century and the mid-20th century alongside the expansion of Argentina's agro-export economic model, through investments from British, French, and national state capital. The network is characterized by the coexistence of different railway gauges, mainly broad, standard, and narrow gauge.
