Recidivism
Recidivism (; from Latin: recidivus 'recurring', derived from re- 'again' and cadere 'to fall') can be defined as the reversion of an individual to criminal behavior after they have been convicted of a prior offense, sentenced, and (presumably) corrected. It is the act of a person repeating an undesirable behavior after they have experienced negative consequences of that behavior, or have been trained to extinguish it.
