The Red Line is part of the Mumbai Metro rail network for the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. During construction, the line was divided into three smaller lines – Line 7 (Dahisar (East) to Gundavali), Line 7A (Gundavali to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport - T2), and Line 9 (Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium to Dahisar (East)).
