Relationship between child pornography and child sexual abuse

A range of research has been conducted examining the link between viewing child pornography and perpetration of child sexual abuse, and much disagreement persists regarding whether a causal connection has been established. Perspectives fall into one of three positions: Viewing child pornography increases the likelihood of an individual committing child sexual abuse.
