Holy See–Taiwan relations

Diplomatic relations between the Holy See and the Republic of China (Taiwan) were established on a non-diplomatic level in 1922 and at a diplomatic level in 1942. The Holy See conducts its relationship with China through formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan.
