The Riga Metro (Latvian: Rīgas metro) was an unrealized metro system in Riga, Latvia, planned during the time of the Soviet Union. Three lines with a total of 33 stations were planned to be built between 1990 and 2021, however in the late 1980s, during the Singing Revolution, the whole project was met with opposition and in combination with the fall of the Soviet Union, construction never took place.
