Roxette is a Swedish pop rock duo originally consisting of Marie Fredriksson (1958–2019) and Per Gessle and currently consisting of Gessle and Lena Philipsson. Both Gessle and Fredriksson were already established musicians in Sweden prior to the band's formation.
