SKD Prosvjeta
The Serbian Cultural Society "Prosvjeta" (Serbian: српско културно друштво „Просвјета“, СКД „Просвјета“, romanized: srpsko kulturno društvo „Prosvjeta“, SKD „Prosvjeta“) is an independent, non-governmental cultural and scientific organization for promoting culture of and among Serbs of Croatia. The organization was established during World War II in Yugoslavia on 18 November 1944 under the auspices of the State Anti-fascist Council for the National Liberation of Croatia, during the genocide of Serbs in the Nazi puppet state of Croatia.
