SS-Helferinnenkorps
The SS-Helferinnenkorps (lit. 'SS Women's Auxiliary Corps') was a formation of female communications and clerical personnel created by the Waffen-SS in 1942. Roughly 10,000 women served, and some were formally inducted into the Waffen-SS. From 1943, they served at Schutzstaffel (SS) and Sicherheitspolizei (SiPo) offices throughout the Reich and occupied Europe, replacing men needed at the front.
