Saudi Arabia–United Arab Emirates relations

Relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been marked by tensions and disputes since before the UAE's independence, alongside areas of alignment and efforts to coordinate their military, political, economic, trade and cultural policies. Both countries are part of Eastern Arabia and the Middle East region and share a long border with each other.
