Scottish Human Rights Commission

The Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC) (Scottish Gaelic: Coimisean Còraichean Daonna na h-Alba) is the national human rights institution for Scotland. It was established by the Scottish Commission for Human Rights Act 2006 (asp 16) and started its work in 2008.
