The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA. Gaelic: Ùghdarras Theisteanas na h-Alba) was an executive non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government responsible for awarding qualifications and accrediting other awarding bodies. The majority of the authority's funding came from the Scottish Government.
