Second City Television, commonly shortened to SCTV and later known as SCTV Network 90 (the NBC version) and SCTV Channel (the Cinemax version), is a Canadian television sketch comedy show that ran intermittently between 1976 and 1984 about a fictional television station. It was created as an offshoot of Toronto's Second City troupe.
